Our Commitment to Your Privacy

At Imagee (a product of iiniit), we understand that your photos are personal and often irreplaceable. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and handle your data with the respect and security it deserves. We are committed to transparency: we never sell your personal data, and we never use your private images for AI training without your explicit consent. You remain in full control of your content.

1. Information We Collect
  • Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (password or OAuth tokens).
  • Profile Data: Optional information you provide such as profile picture, company name, or job title.
  • Image Data: The photos and images you upload for AI processing, including original files and metadata (EXIF data, file size, format).
  • Processed Content: The enhanced, restored, upscaled, or transformed versions of your images generated by our AI tools.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use Imagee, including features accessed, processing history, credit consumption, timestamps, and interaction patterns.
  • Device and Technical Information: Browser type and version, operating system, IP address, device identifiers, screen resolution, and referring URLs.
  • Payment Information: Billing details including payment method, transaction history, and invoice data. Payment card details are processed securely by our third-party payment processors and are not stored on our servers.
  • Communications: Records of your correspondence with us, including support tickets, emails, and feedback.
2. How We Handle Your Images
  • Purpose-Limited Processing: Your uploaded images are processed by our AI models solely to provide the specific enhancement service you requested (upscaling, background removal, restoration, etc.).
  • Temporary Processing Storage: During active processing, images are held in secure memory and temporary storage necessary to complete the operation.
  • History Storage: Processed images may be stored in your account history to allow you to re-download results. You control this through your account settings.
  • No AI Training Without Consent: We do NOT use your private uploads to train, fine-tune, or improve our AI models without your explicit opt-in consent. Your images remain your private data.
  • User-Controlled Deletion: You can delete any image from your processing history at any time. Deleted images are permanently removed from our active storage systems.
  • Automatic Cleanup: Images from guest or unauthenticated processing sessions are automatically deleted within 24 hours. Expired or orphaned files are routinely purged.
  • Backup Retention: Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period (up to 30 days) for disaster recovery purposes before being permanently purged.
3. How We Use Your Information
  • Service Delivery: To process your images, manage your account, and provide all features of the Imagee platform.
  • Payment Processing: To process subscriptions, credit purchases, manage billing, and handle refunds as described in our Payment Policy.
  • Service Communications: To send essential notifications such as account verification, password resets, processing completion alerts, and subscription reminders.
  • Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical assistance.
  • Security and Fraud Prevention: To detect, prevent, and investigate fraudulent transactions, abuse, or security threats to our platform and users.
  • Content Moderation: To enforce our Acceptable Use Policy and prevent the processing of prohibited content.
  • Service Improvement: To analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve our AI models, user interface, and overall service quality.
  • Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, legal processes, and regulatory requirements.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
  • Contract Performance: Processing necessary to provide the Imagee service you have requested and to fulfill our contractual obligations.
  • Legitimate Interests: Processing for our legitimate business interests, such as improving our services, preventing fraud, and ensuring security, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: Where required, we obtain your explicit consent for specific processing activities, such as marketing communications or participation in AI training programs.
  • Legal Obligation: Processing necessary to comply with legal requirements, court orders, or regulatory obligations.
  • You may withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
  • No Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or images to third parties for their marketing purposes.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Providers: We use trusted cloud service providers (such as AWS, Google Cloud, or similar) to host our servers and store data. These providers operate under strict data processing agreements and security standards.
  • Payment Processors: Payment transactions are handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. We do not store your full credit card details.
  • Analytics Services: We use analytics tools to understand usage patterns. These services receive anonymized or aggregated data and do not have access to your images.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of iiniit, our users, or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such change and your options.
  • With Your Consent: We may share information with third parties when you explicitly consent to such sharing.
6. Data Security
  • Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is protected using TLS/SSL encryption (HTTPS).
  • Encryption at Rest: Stored data, including images and personal information, is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.

  • Data Portability: You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will cease processing unless we have compelling legitimate grounds.

  • Legal Retention: Certain data (such as transaction records) may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Anonymized Data: Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement purposes.
